Pauline Blessed Lamunu | Founder | Chairperson

As a member of the community, a woman and especially a mother, I amenthusiastic about raising awareness and doing what is possible to alleviate the difficulties and challenges facing disadvantaged people and their families. It has always been a deep passion to help people who are struggling, empathising particularly with the difficulties faced by lone parents, women, child mothers, child headed families, orphans, those on low-income and the elderly both here in the UK, and in Africa.

By constantly working in collaborating with other community organisations and through various projects the charity implemented since2006, I learned so much and gained in depth understanding of what so many people go through every day including my own experience. I believe it’s our responsibility to do what we can to improve our community and provided opportunities that could otherwise not have been available.

I am privileged enough to have built and improved my skills and qualifications over the years, and I thank the almighty God for his continued grace, strength, guidance, and wisdom to be able to initiate several empowerment and development projects through FENET International.

Since 2006, our FENET Internation impacted the lives of thousands of people in the community in many ways through different projects implemented here in the UK and in Africa. My education in the UK has played a significant role in transforming my entire life, experience, and empathy for others. My own experienced here in the UK has amplified my desire to serve others and be an answer and a solution to their cry.

Young people that attended out projects and have graduated and now serving in different capacities as Engineers, Doctors, Baristas, PerformingArt, and countless others in different sectors and universities is my pride asa mother, a community champion, an advocate for opportunities are some of the force that inspire me daily to serve the community I called home.

In working with Family Empowerment Network International, I no longer live just for myself and my family, but I live for others too, to treat every person with respect, care and to put a smile on their faces whenever I can. It is my prayer that this charity continues to transform the lives of many and empower them to gain knowledge and skills, achieve their full potential and improve their living condition.

It is an honour and privilege to serve my community, my city of London, my country where I live and now called home the United Kingdom, and Africa my mother land. It is a privilege to be able to contribute in a small way to the betterment and wellbeing being of humanity.

I want to thank all the generous funders and partners who supported our work over the years, all the volunteers and all those who supported the charity to date.

Thank you for supporting our work!

I am appealing to well-wishers, supporters and individual who share this passion to support our work through donations of any kind to enable us to improve and continue to provide the vital services to the communitieshere in the UK and Africa and expand our service provision to reach many.

Some of our volunteers join us and offer their personal skills and experience e.g. administration, office, fundraising and funding applications, online communications to name just a few. There’s something for everybody!

Their skills can help us streamline procedures, set-up new systems and help us work more effectively and efficiently to meet our targets.
