What you need to do

You need to make a Gift Aid declaration for our charity to claim. Our charity will give you a form to sign. You must also have an HMRC charity reference number.

You must give a declaration to our charity if you want to donate to through Gift Aid.

Paying enough tax to qualify for Gift Aid 

• • Your donations will qualify as long as they’re not more than 4 times what you have paid in tax in that tax year (6 April to 5 April).
  • The tax could have been paid on your income or capital gains.
  • You must tell our charity if you stop paying enough tax.
  • You should only sign our Gift Aid declaration if you’ve paid enough tax to cover what our charity is going to reclaim.
