Hygiene & Essential Product

Hygiene poverty is having a detrimental effect on millions of Older People and low-income families especially single parents in the UK and around the world, forcing them to make impossible decisions daily.

FENET International End Hygiene Poverty Project working in partnership with In-kind Direct & Givingworld Online will address the critical need to provided hygiene& essential products to older people and low-income families especially single parent families experience hygiene poverty across London and the other parts of the country. Every person deserves to wake up and feel clean. Join us to end Hygiene poverty by Donating Today. Keeping clean is not a choice but a human right to all.

Research shows that, in the UK alone, there are over 9 million people currently experiencing hygiene poverty and many millions of people around the world currently experiencing hygiene poverty and it’s still not being spoken about. Parents are sending their children to school without brushing their teeth and skipping meals to afford laundry detergent to wash school uniforms, a decision no one should have to face in their normal daily life.

Our goal is to impact long-term change by distributing these basic products to low-income families, improve their quality of life for low-income and help them find their way out of poverty.

Most people experiencing hygiene poverty face the impossible choice to heat, eat or keep clean daily. Every person deserves to wake up and feel clean.

Hygiene poverty can include but not limited to

Washing hair, body, face, and clothes with the same washing up liquid
Having to choose between shaving foam and razors or transportation to a job interview.
Going to school with matted hair because there’s only one hairbrush in the household.
Going to school without brushing teeth.
Not being able to launder clothes, school uniform, and muddy sports kit
Being judged for living in an unclean home
Not being able to afford essential products.

Every person deserves to wake up and feel clean.  But for the millions of people in the UK living in hygiene poverty, this human right can feel more like an unattainable luxury.

Join us to end Hygiene poverty. Donating Today Become a part of the solution.
